I need your help. As a family member, caretaker and supporter of a child with developmental disabilities, I have seen the level of support from the state Department of Developmental Services drastically decline in recent years. Without additional and immediate support from Governor Rell, services to Connecticut’s most vulnerable citizens will be eliminated. I am asking you to join me, and hundreds of other family members and caretakers, in petitioning Governor Jodi Rell to attend a town meeting, so she can directly listen to and respond to our concerns. Please reply to this request, letting me know you are willing to add your name to our petition for a town meeting with the Governor. Your response will be forwarded to Governor Rell with all others signing the petition. Thank you for your timely response.
